Whether you want those stained glass or encapsulated glass paper nails, using our very own Glass Paper for your nail art application will make a huge difference! You can achieve glass nails that will make your nails look like the belle of the ball! If you want to know how to use our Glass Paper, read on to find out more! What is Glass Paper? Glass Paper has a shimmering pattern of nail art designs that comes in a roll of thin, pre-cut sheets. This paper is thin and lightweight for encapsulation, giving your nails a glass-like sophistication! How to use Glass Paper? You can unleash your creativity when using our shattered glass nail art paper! You may cut and mold our transparent, reflective colored paper and add it to your nail art designs. Our Glass Papers are crafted to ensure you have the perfect glass sheen for your nails. It’s thin and reflective, making it a must-have item for nail techs! How to apply Glass Paper? To achieve lustrous nails, encapsulation is key. You can do it with any nail application, from gel to acrylic nails. There's no limit to how you can encapsulate your nails since our Glass Paper is so versatile! If you're wondering how to do nail encapsulation, add a layer of clear gel or a light-colored lacquer, gel, or powder over your design to seal in the Glass Paper. You can watch a live video on how to use our Glass Paper below. Step 1 The first step is to prep your nails before doing any nail application. A good nail prep is a good foundation for your nail art designs and makes our Glass Paper stick better and last longer. Step 2 Take a moment to visualize the size and shape of the Glass Paper you'll use to design your nails. After that, you can trim the paper to the correct size. Step 3 The next step would be to apply your base color. Place your base layer using any color or medium of choice (e.g., gel, dip, acrylic, builder gel, sculpture gel, etc.). For the adhesion of your Glass Paper, you may place either LB Foil Transfer Gel, iGel Gel Base Coat, iGel No Cleanse Top Coat, or Dip & Dap - 2 Base Coat. If you're using gel products, cure for the appropriate time. If you're using the dip base, you can apply it right away. Through the Rhinestone Picker Tool, place your desired glass paper snippings in your desired pattern or form. Step 4 Afterward, flash cure for 10 seconds under an LED lamp (70 watts) or for 30 seconds under UV (36 watts). We recommend our latest PRO-X Mini Lamp for flash curing as it lets you cure one nail at a time with precision. This travel-friendly nail lamp delivers convenience and portability with its groundbreaking detachable touch sensor design. Step 5 For the finishing touches, apply your Dip & Dap - 4 Top Coat or No Cleanse Gel Top Coat to give your nails a gorgeous shine and durability. If you use our Dip & Dap Powder - DP01 Clear to cap the free edge of your nails and provide more coverage and thickness, we recommend sealing it with the no-wipe top Coat products. It will make your nail art designs ultra-shiny and long-lasting! When finished, cure again, then voila! You now have beautiful, glossy nails with our Glass Paper. You should add Glass paper to your nail art professional kits and collections! If you’re looking for other glass nail ideas to inspire you, join our iGel Beauty Online Community. See you there!
