How to apply Chrome Powder Pen for nail art design:

Step 1:

First apply your preferred base color with a gel polish. For contrast on your nails you can use our  iGel Match - 002 Jet Black or Dip & Dap Duo - DD073 At MidnightThe next step is to cure the nails under a UV/LED nail lamp, and the curing time depends on your nail lamp. 


Step 2:

 Apply a layer of our iGel Chrome Base. We also highly recommend our iGel No Cleanse Top Coat then flash cure for 30 seconds.

Step 3:

Apply a thin layer of the desired pigment using our Silicone Tip Brush onto the nail surface. If you want a more pigmented effect, build it up by adding multiple thin layers.

Pro Tip! Shake the Chrome Powder Pen well before each use and use enough product to saturate the brush before applying.


Step 4:

You may also use any of our Dust Brushes to remove excess pigments on the nail if desired.


Step 5:

Seal the nail, including the tip of the nail, with our iGel No Cleanse Top Coat. Afterward, cure it under your UV/LED lamp.


Step 6:

For long-lasting nails, apply a second layer of iGel No Cleanse Top Coat coating. Afterward, cure it under your UV/LED lamp.


How to clean a Chrome Powder Pen:

Step 1:  

The Chrome Powder Pen is hassle-free and low maintenance to clean. You can just tap it gently to dust it off or wipe it with a clean cloth.


Step 2:

Use a dust brush to gently remove other pigments and dust that has settled onto your pen. If you’re unsure if your Chrome Powder Pen is empty, lightly shake and press the pen to check if there's any pigment left. You can also check if any gel or lacquer is clogging your sponge.
